Night 1: 13 Nights of Halloween -Stampin' Up! Style

Welcome to 13 Nights of Halloween. I don't know about you, but my favorite part of Halloween is giving out treats and fun Halloween parties.  I have a special treat for everyone for the next 13 nights! (I changed the name to nights instead of days because all posts will be uploaded at 7 p.m. (EST) each evening for the next 13 nights)

Over the next 13 nights, I will be bringing you fun tutorials either through the form of video, detailed instructions, or picture tutorials. These are all FREE and my treat to all of you for all of your support, which allows me to do something I love doing.

The list of supplies needed for this fun card are listed below the instruction tutorial.  While some of you might be wondering if you saw this before, the answer would be yes.  This was the showcase card I did to spotlight our Vintage Crochet Trim. However, as adorable as it is, I could not resist sharing how to make this great card.

So for our first fun spooky project I am going to share how to make a little witch's brew....

Follow the instructions step by step to create this fun Witch's Brew Card that may act as an invitation or just a spooky wishing you a Happy Halloween to someone special who enjoys this fun holiday....and just wont even get your kitchen dirty!!!

1. Cut a piece of pumpkin pie cardstock 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 and a piece of crumb cake cardstock 4 1/4 x 2 3/4
2. Cut 4 1/4 × 2 1/2 piece of Spooky Night Designer Series Paper (DSP) of your choice of design
3. Using the big shot, die cut a coffee cup using the Coffee Cup Framelits out of another piece of Spooky Night DSP of your choice. Also, at this time take and fussy cut a witches hat from a sheet of DSP that has the witch's hat and put this aside for later use.
4. Die cut out the wrapper for the cup and stopper heart piece in Basic Black cardstock and a lid in Pumpkin Pie
5. Take whisper white ink and using the witches brew stamp from the Merry Cafe stamp set to stamp those words.
6. Take basic black ink or momento ink and stamp the lid with the lid piece using Coffee Cafe Stamp Set.
7. Fold your card base pumpkin pie piece of cardstock in half and crease it good using a bone folder or something to make it flat.
8. Using basic black ink or momento ink, using the Merry Cafe stamp set, take the spider web and stamp across the top of the card base.
9. Cut two pieces of Vintage Crochet Trim 4 1/4" in lenght
10. Assemble the crumb cake piece of cardstock first with your form of choice of adhesive. I encourage choosing fast fuse, snail, or Tombow.
Step Eleven Next add the DSP piece size 4 1/4 x 2 1/2 on top of the crumb cake centered.
12. Add both pieces of Vintage Crochet Trim down with glue dots along the edge of your DSP as shown in the picture.
13. Now you assemble your witches brew coffee cup. Add your little stopper to the lid with tombow or a glue dot; now add your lid to your cup, and last add the wrapper in the center of the cup and adhere it to your card. Now add your hat and you are ready to serve up your Witch's Brew to a lucky person.

Just like that you have brewed your very own cup of Witch's Brew. I hope you have enjoyed this easy, fun card tonight. Please feel free to ask any questions I may help you with.

The list of items used and mentioned are listed below. Have a spooktacular evening! Catch everyone tomorrow.
