Night 7: 13 Nights of Halloween -Stampin' Up! Style

So we are a little over half way through the 13 nights of Halloween series.  I hope you have gotten some fun ideas and enjoying the creativity.

Tonight we are taking a little break from actual projects and going to focus on some fun tips and ideas for having the perfect Halloween party.  While I will share some ideas using Stampin' Up! products, I am also going to share some fun tips and tricks to make things a bit easier when planning your spooky Halloween event. I mean there is truly no point in creating fun cards, treats and decorations if you have no where to enjoy them.

As an event planner there is nothing better then working the details of an event so every event has perfect execution.  Yes, yes every event always has a glitch, but your guests will never know if you prepare and stay on top of all the details needed to be carried out.

Let's start with invitations.  his year Stampin' Up!'s holiday catalog has the perfect set to create those spooky invitations for that fun Halloween party.  Graveyard Gate allows you to create some eerie looking invitations that will help get your guests into the spirit of all things spooky.

Just look at how fun this card is. Plus, don't forget, when you purchase the bundle you save 10%. Can't beat those savings. Next we get to the decorations and party fun. What is a party without some fun décor??!!

In this photo, you see lots of fun displays that may be used to help you decorate your home for your spooky filled event.  Here you see how the cat punch, we have had some samples with, was used to create beautiful garland and adorable tags were created for the test tube treats, jars, and even the cute clear boxes filled with yummy jelly beans.
Now while invitations will get your guests to your event, and decorations may wow them and keep them entertained, when it comes to party planning there are a few very important things you should always make a priority in your planning.

The first thing is knowing how much each person will eat or drink. This information will assure you that you will not be short on either, and guests will have plenty to eat and drink.  The following charts will help you determine how much is just enough.

Now that you know just how much to get, there is also the way you set up your food tables and displays.  Using cleaver props such as pumpkins to hold dips give a table a conversation piece to keep your guests wowed!
Another great option is to have food bars or food stations. Having a caramel apple dipping station is a perfect addition for any Halloween party.
Last but not least you definitely want to send your guests home with a little treat.  These cute creations made with Stampin' Up!'s fun Pick a Pumpkin set make the perfect treats to send your guests on their way with.
I hope you were able to take some fun tips and ideas from all that was shared.
We will resume our fun creations on Night 8 with a very fun technique you will use over and over for many occasions. P.S. This technique will be used to create a very fun home décor piece.  See you all tomorrow night! Thanks for stopping by.
