The Remarkable InkBig Blog Hop-Valentines

Hi everyone! I hope you are all enjoying your Sunday. I am so excited to welcome you to the Remarkable InkBig Blog Hop for January 2018. Maybe you are starting this blog hop here at Jenn Van Wart @ Designs by Jennifer Lynn or maybe you just came from Cheryl Hamilton @ Create With Cheryl, who is the previous person before me. No matter where you are coming from or starting from, if you feel lost, just check out the full lineup below and it will get you right back on track, and guide you to where to go next.

With February 14th right around the corner, it is never too early to start thinking Valentine's Day gifts. I have included two really cute projects that make giving treats and special gifts such a breeze.
Aren't these just adorable?  ...and they are using some of my favorite colors and products!

I thought it would be fun to show you how to make the adorable mini treat holder that uses our great Lots To Love Box Framelits Dies bundle.  I have to say the versatility of this box die is amazing!!!

Let's get started....

The first step is to stamp two hearts, one using Berry Burst and one using Sugarplum Ink. Stamp one in each color.
Next...you will die cut out the hearts and 2 boxes that will be needed to create the mini box.

Now you have box two pieces and you are going to trim down these pieces.
Next you will cut down to each side lining up the rounded piece to the 3 1/2" line. After you cut them fold all the scored areas and you will have two pieces that look like this when you are done.

Next you will apply adhesive of your choice to each long flat side and assemble them together.

After you have adhered the long pieces together you will add glue dots to the tabs on all four corners and adhere them to the inside of the box.
Fold over your tabs and adhere your hearts and adhere to the box. You may leave it as is or add some ribbon or trim for added sparkle.

P.S.. Whatever you do, don't forget your candy treats or special gift inside.

Thanks so much for taking part of our amazing blog hop.  There are many amazing ideas and inspiration throughout your blog hop journey and you definitely don't want to miss any of it.

Remember, you are currently here at Jenn Van Wart @ Designs by Jennifer Lynn, so check the blog hop list and see where you go next.
Quick Side Note: Below the blog hop list is a complete list of supplies I used for the cute mini treat box as well as the items used to create the adorable gable treat box. Have a great day!
